Responsibilities
Application of engineering calculations
Manage projects across multiple disciplines within Shape
Create technical documents summarizing data analysis and conclusions
Ability to present technical information
Additional duties as assigned by the supervisor, not otherwise specified in this position description
Study and implement equipment design improvements
Study and define optimum processing windows
Document and present all study findings via reports and/or operator instructions
Introduction to Six Sigma and problem solving using the DMAIC process
Statistical analysis including DoE
Create simple tool and fixture designs in AutoCAD or Solidworks
Support continuous improvement activities
Support in troubleshooting and problem solving of production issues
Create/revise operator instructions for various activities on the shop floor
Support asset management (transfers of equipment/tooling)
Support annual safety audits of equipment
Support plant layout management including revisions and future plant layout planning
