This role is essential in managing and estimating plumbing service projects, focusing on customer development and maintaining long-term relationships while ensuring profitability.

Responsibilities
Estimate plumbing costs for service calls and small projects
Do service and project walk throughs
Acquire pricing from vendors to assist in putting together estimate
Establish costs for labor, material, equipment subcontractors and other direct job costs
Produce estimates/proposals for customers
Purchase materials
Interact with field plumber to insure work is delivered to estimate
Responsible for project management of work sold to ensure profitability
Initiate and maintain contact with customer from start to completion of work
Develop and maintain customer relationships
Identifies opportunities for upselling and cross-selling other services to key customers
Qualification
Required
Hands-on experience in the plumbing trade with demonstrated success in field operations, estimating, and/or project management
Proven ability to diagnose plumbing issues in the field, identify practical solutions, and translate findings into clear scopes of work and accurate estimates
Ability to read, interpret, and apply plumbing drawings, specifications, and technical documents
Demonstrated self-starter with initiative in identifying work opportunities, solving problems, and following projects through from start to finish
Customer-focused mindset with the ability to build trust, credibility, and long-term relationships
Strong organizational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Preferred
Journeyman or Master Plumber license preferred, with strong working knowledge of plumbing systems, equipment, codes, and industry standards
Formal education in Engineering or Construction Management a plus, or an equivalent combination of technical training and trade experience
