Postdoctoral in MRI, Image Processing, Deep Learning, Motion Correction
UC Irvine is seeking a Postdoctoral candidate in medical image processing with deep learning for motion and distortion correction and image reconstruction in MRI. The role involves conducting experiments with MRI data and developing algorithms and software for motion-robust imaging.

Responsibilities
The successful candidates will conduct experiments with MRI data for motion-robust image reconstruction, quality assessment, image harmonization, real-time image processing
The work includes working with various MRI techniques, including, specifically, diffusion MRI, functional MRI, and quantitative MRI, algorithm and software development, and preparing papers, presentations, and reports
Qualification
Required
PhD in electrical or biomedical engineering, medical physics, computer science, applied mathematics, or a related field, with experience in MRI, image processing, and deep learning
High-quality publications (first authored) in top journals in the field
Preferred
Demonstrated deep knowledge and experience in magnetic resonance imaging
Demonstrated experience in C++/Python/CUDA programming for deep learning
Demonstrated development of new deep learning methods for MRI
Experience in MRI image reconstruction; motion and distortion correction in MRI
Track record of first-author publications in top peer-reviewed journals in the field
Excellent scientific writing ability and oral communication skills
