Traffic Analyst
Kirby Inland Marine LP is seeking a Traffic Analyst to provide daily analysis and verification of boat and barge traffic. The role involves reviewing daily boat traffic, ensuring all required traffic information is accurate, and assisting supervisors as needed.

Responsibilities
Provide the daily analysis and verification of all boat and barge traffic, facilitate Sales/Billing requests on traffic related issues
Review daily boat traffic on assigned vessels
Ensure all required traffic for transit, barge transfers, boat call positions and event comments are present and correct in Oasis
Request any missing traffic either by messaging the vessels, KLM or by consultation with CSR’s or traffic schedulers
Correct all errors identified, enter any missing traffic in Oasis
Document consistent errors and the work process required to affect corrections
Investigate boat/barge overlaps and unaccounted time using the Trip Equipment Date screen
Assist Supervisor and / or Sales/Account Managers as needed
Qualification
Required
High School diploma or GED
Minimum of 1 year logistics or maritime experience
Organized, detail-oriented and accurate
Self-motivated and multi-task oriented
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to operate standard office equipment
General understanding of boat/barge utilization
