Responsibilities
Analyze plant operating costs, variances, and earned hours
Support monthly forecasting and performance tracking
Maintain and report on CAPEX spend vs. budget
Perform month-end close activities and financial analysis
Partner with engineering to validate Bills of Materials
Support audits, inventory counts, and standard cost updates
Drive improvements in forecast accuracy and cost controls
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
3+ years of experience in cost accounting and/or financial analysis
3+ years of experience in manufacturing plant or operations finance
Strong experience with standard costing
Strong experience with variance analysis
Strong experience with forecasting and budgeting
Strong experience with month-end close, journal entries, and reporting
Advanced proficiency in Excel and MS Office
Experience working with ERP systems (standard costing modules required)
Ability to collaborate with operations, engineering, and plant leadership
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Authorized to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship)
Preferred
Hands-on experience with Oracle ERP
CPA or CMA certification (plus, not required)
Experience with CAPEX tracking
Experience with physical inventory processes
Experience with SOX compliance
Experience with BOM accuracy and cost maintenance
Background supporting plant controllers or manufacturing leadership teams
