Responsibilities

Guiding research projects through conducting experimental work
Maintaining detailed documentation of experimental work
Presenting data within and outside of the laboratory group at meetings and symposia
Maintaining close communications with PI and collaborators regarding progress
Writing, editing, and submitting manuscripts/abstracts detailing the results of the project
Performing other related duties as assigned. The omission of specific duties does not preclude the supervisor from assigning duties that are logically related to the position

Required

Applicants must have fulfilled all requirements for the award of a PhD or equivalent qualification in a relevant field by the date of employment

Preferred

Ph.D. in Immunology, Virology, Systems Biology or related fields
Preference will be given to persons with demonstrated experience in genomics/proteomics studies of clinical isolates of immune cells and validating the outcomes in using in vitro/in vivo models of disease by performing wet-bench assays
Prior training and experience in handling rodents and conducting in vivo experiments
Expertise in flowcytometry and advanced microscopy imaging
