Responsibilities

Develop and contribute to Augmented Reality (AR) System UI architecture, interaction models, and UI framework in close collaboration with the rest of the UX team and cross-functional partners

Own and deliver design work and collaborate closely with UX Engineers as part of a prototyping-driven design and discovery process

Partner with cross-functional and cross-product teams to define the product outlook, contribute to user research, product strategy, and execute on the aligned outlook

Solve highly ambiguous and complex design problems involving both screen-space and spatial design

Help define pragmatic interaction design systems and patterns, execute on final designs, and communicate user narratives with strategic reasoning behind design decisions

Required

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience

8 years of experience with product design or UX

Experience with hardware/software interaction design, design systems, and spatial UX

Experience with visual design and communication design

Experience with design tools like Figma

Preferred

Familiarity with prototyping using more advanced tools like web-based technologies or unity

Familiarity with motion design and 3D tools

Familiarity with Google material design

Ability to take design concepts from drawing board to shipped features

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to accept different perspectives, articulate positions, and advocate for user needs

Strong visual design and communication design skills
