Responsibilities
Predictive Dashboard for the Billboard Hot 100
Generate Global Market Share estimates not currently available from industry sources
Scrape Wiki Sources to improve artist birthdate datasets
Develop dynamic / automated models to help key stakeholders with business decisions
Create SQL scripts to extract necessary data from files that could be greater than 100 TB in size within Google BigQuery or other SQL platforms, and build visualizations in Tableau, Alteryx, and various other visualization tools to present findings in a visually compelling way
Identify user/partner/ track/album/market trends
Present overall findings to executives throughout the company in a clear and concise manner
Research & build customized reports based on financial and marketing data
Build, develop and maintain various partner, consumer behavior, and consumption trend projects with ongoing summaries and recommendations
Create data decks to showcase trends, growth or opportunities with our roster of artists
Documentation and maintenance of current reports
Collaboration with all departments within the organization as needed
Professional presentations in cases when needed by the team
Support the A&R research process by helping identify emerging artists and trends across digital platforms
Develop and test new methods for discovering potential talent and songs with viral potential
Assist in organizing and analyzing datasets to highlight drivers of audience growth and engagement
Conduct market research to identify online communities, audience clusters, and genre movements relevant to developing artists
Present findings and recommendations that inform A&R and marketing strategies
Creating and distributing various reports to staff
Updating and maintaining internal data systems
Building and maintaining forecasting and projection models
Data deep dives and analysis projects
Oversee departments
Create reports and updates on all areas, notably Marketing, A&R and Finance
Attend/participate in label meetings & take notes to review with upper management
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled at an accredited two or four-year college/university in the United States, pursuing an undergraduate, graduate and/or law degree
Graduating between Spring 2026 - Fall 2028
Have access to housing and transportation within the designated city (We do not offer housing or transportation accommodations)
Legally authorized to work in the United States and will not require sponsorship for employment visa status, now or in the future (e.g., H1-B, OPT, etc.)
Commit to 20 - 40 hours per week (based on individual business area)
