Responsibilities
Provide financial support to operational teams by promoting and reinforcing effective business practices across multiple sites within a defined region. Contribute to the sharing and adoption of financial best practices across the broader organization
Support the month-end close process and review monthly financial performance and key metrics in partnership with operations leaders. Identify performance gaps, recommend corrective actions, and communicate findings to leadership
Contribute to financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities for regional operations. Evaluate plans and forecasts for alignment with strategic objectives and operational feasibility, and provide guidance to regional leadership
Ensure compliance with established accounting policies, internal controls, and reporting standards across regional operations
Coordinate and support readiness for internal and external audits at operating locations
Respond to ad hoc financial analyses and perform additional duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required
At least 5 years of progressive experience in financial roles, preferably within an operational or manufacturing environment
Broad experience across core areas of financial management and business control
Strong background in financial planning and analysis
Solid understanding of internal controls and generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
Proficiency with common financial systems and enterprise resource planning tools, as well as advanced spreadsheet and presentation software
Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills, with strong overall business judgment
Proven project management and problem-solving abilities
Demonstrated success in improving processes and developing financial analyses that deliver actionable business insights
Effective collaborator who partners with finance and operations leaders to promote accountability, engagement, and a customer-focused mindset
Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, complex, and highly matrixed, cross-functional environment
Preferred
Advanced degree or professional certification strongly preferred
