Enterprise Software Sales Account Executive

Lakeside HR Group has been engaged by their client to recruit an Enterprise Sales Executive for a growing software company specializing in electronic logbook solutions. This role focuses on managing the full sales cycle, building new relationships, and expanding existing accounts to drive revenue growth.

Responsibilities

Generate new revenue by developing and closing new enterprise account relationships
Expand revenue within existing accounts through upsell and cross-sell opportunities
Manage the full sales cycle from lead qualification through close
Respond to inbound inquiries and execute targeted outbound outreach via phone and email
Partner closely with customer success to identify expansion opportunities within current customers
Build opportunity plans and sales strategies to win large enterprise accounts
Gain access to and build consensus with key stakeholders across prospect organizations
Deliver compelling product presentations and live demonstrations via virtual meetings
Collaborate with sales engineering on solution design, demos, RFP responses, and technical questions
Prepare proposals, quotes, and negotiate pricing and scope
Maintain accurate pipeline activity and opportunity tracking in HubSpot CRM
Contribute to the development of sales tools, messaging, and processes
Develop and maintain customer references
Represent the company at relevant industry events
Continuously build knowledge of the product and target industries

Required

Minimum of 8 years of enterprise software sales experience (utilities experience strongly preferred)
Proven ability to build, manage, and close a robust enterprise sales pipeline
Strong relationship-building skills with both new prospects and existing customers
Confident, consultative selling approach with excellent negotiation and closing skills
Highly organized and disciplined approach to opportunity management
Strong presentation, verbal, and written communication skills
Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams across sales engineering and customer success
Familiarity with IT concepts such as servers and databases
Willingness to travel occasionally
Existing relationships or experience in target industrial markets is a plus
