Responsibilities

Service and manage a mid-sized generalist commercial book of business
Quote new and renewal business as required
Undergo a structured 12-month training program to transition into the Department Manager role
Lead and manage a team of three professionals starting in 2027
Continue managing a small portfolio of high-profile accounts while overseeing the department
Collaborate with the current Department Manager during the training period to ensure a seamless transition

Qualification

Required

Property & Casualty (P&C) license required
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in commercial insurance
Strong leadership potential and a desire to manage a team

Ability to work independently while fostering a team-oriented environment
Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional service
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

Preferred

Leadership experience or project management experience is a plus
Familiarity with AMS360 software is preferred but not required
