Responsibilities

Assist in the regulatory mandated inventory control process. All issues related to the lot numbers, shipments and reagent expiration dates will be promptly brought to the attention of the SL-4 Clinical Laboratory Technologist Bench Supervisor or a senior Clinical Laboratory Technologist

Under the supervision of the SL-4 Clinical Laboratory Technologist Bench Supervisor or a senior Clinical Laboratory Technologist, the Incumbent will accession incoming samples

Under the supervision of the SL-4 Clinical Laboratory Technologist Bench Supervisor or a senior Clinical Laboratory Technologist, the incumbent will issue blood/blood products

Will be responsible in cleaning and periodic maintenance of laboratory equipment in accordance to safety regulations as per established procedures and regulatory standards

Maintains records of laboratory reports, such as temperature charts, eye washes and maintenance logs per regulatory standards

Required

Associate's degree or equivalent college credits

Currently enrolled in an accredited Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) program

Preferred

Two years of college credits in Healthcare related fields

Experience in Healthcare setting
