Responsibilities

Provide eDiscovery, litigation, technical and programmatic support as needed to maintain daily operations for the office
Support the development and maintenance of existing IT systems by drafting associated policies and/or procedures
Assist in the evaluation, operation and support of eDiscovery tools to meet OGC litigation support requirements, many of which are complex, sensitive or involve short suspense time for response
Provide technical support for the migration of current systems in accordance with SEC cloud initiatives. Applications include litigation support tools, Microsoft 365 cloud, other cloud-based collaborative platforms, or other technical tools
Serve as Contracting Officer Representative for IT service and/or expert contracts when needed
Lead a broad range of projects that involve working with staff at all levels both within and outside of OGC by communicating and providing information, compiling data, and drafting documents for management review

Required

You must be a US Citizen
Time-in-grade for this announcement is one year at the GS/SK-13 level
Applicants must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below: Attention to Detail, Customer Service, Oral Communication, Problem Solving
In addition to meeting the basic requirement, applicants must also meet the minimum qualification requirement SK-14: Applicant must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS/SK-13 level: Providing IT technical service for a variety of litigation support products and services (ie., electronic case management systems, trial presentation software tools and databases, eDiscovery systems); AND Utilizing various Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies (i.e waterfall, spiral, agile, rapid prototyping, incremental, and synchronize and stabilize) for litigation-related applications; AND Implementing the processing, delivery, and tracking of investigatory and litigation data in cases involving large volumes of documentary and/or digital evidence

Education must be accredited by an accrediting institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education in order for it to be credited towards qualifications
