In this role, you will be part of the Monitoring, Observability, and Usage team, responsible for monitoring, alerting, and logging the health of the Platform, while designing and engineering solutions to meet user needs and customer SLA requirements.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement technical solutions for observability systems, which include monitoring, logging, tracing, and alerting

Work closely with Product and Engineering to ensure we are meeting customer SLAs

Commit code to Git repository using best practices and perform Pull Request reviews

Help architect features and capabilities, as well as document the implementation

Participate in daily stand-ups and sprint planning

Required

Must be a US citizen

Must have a Bachelor's degree in a related field

Minimum of 3-7 years of related experience

Programming experience with Python and Java

Experience with Grafana or similar observability software

Experience with internal system logging (ELK or similar)

Experience developing REST API endpoints

Experience with service-oriented and microservice architectures

Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform) and CI/CD tools (e.g., GitLab)

Exposure to database technologies and management principles

Experience building cloud-native services (AWS, Google, Azure), including use of serverless computing technologies

Experience with software lifecycles centered around right-sized mono-repos and their associated tooling that provides seamless integration testing and deployment
