TA Services is a company focused on moving business forward through various logistics services. The Yard Compliance Specialist will monitor safety compliance of contract truck drivers, assist with load adjustments, and support overall yard operations while adhering to strict safety standards.

Responsibilities

Monitor the safety compliance of over-the-road contract truck drivers picking up at the Cofield location, ensuring proper PPE usage and adherence to site safety protocols
Follow all outbound shipment safety and quality control procedures, including verification of tag numbers, proper blocking, and shipment specifications
Assist with load adjustments to ensure safe and accurate outbound shipments
Operate, or learn to operate, Taylor 550 forklifts, skid steers, and potentially yard trucks in a safe and efficient manner
Support overall yard operations, including yard clean-up and completion of additional tasks assigned by the Yard Manager or Site Manager

Required

High school diploma or equivalent
Willingness to learn and operate forklifts, skid steers, and yard trucks
Basic understanding of safety protocols and material handling procedures
Dependable and punctual; arrives to work on time and ready to work safely
Safety-focused with strong attention to detail
Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset

Preferred

Previous experience in quality control or yard operations
Experience operating Taylor 550 forklifts
