Head of Investment Operations
The University of Pittsburgh is seeking an experienced professional to lead the team overseeing non-investment functions within its Investment Office. This role involves managing operations related to the university’s Consolidated Endowment Fund, preparing complex reports for senior leadership, and implementing best practices in operational functions for investments.

Implementing and maintaining state-of-the-art technology systems, workflows, data analytics, and reporting
Overseeing endowment-related aspects of the University’s annual audit
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree
10 years of experience in an operations capacity at an asset allocator or other investment management firm
Ability to identify and implement industry-best practices
Experience overseeing financial and risk analyses
Experience managing operations related to investment functions
Ability to prepare complex reports for senior leadership
Experience directing the preparation and audit of reporting materials
Experience monitoring structural, operational, compliance, and regulatory aspects of documentation
Ability to implement and maintain technology systems, workflows, data analytics, and reporting
Ability to oversee endowment-related aspects of the University's annual audit
Ability to use computer, copier, and mobile phone
Willingness to travel domestically to attend meetings and conferences
Preferred
Advanced degree such as a JD or MBA
Professional credential such as a CPA or CFA
