The Merchandise System Analyst II will support existing merchandise systems and processes, collaborate with engineers, and manage product backlogs to improve efficiency across various merchandise systems.

Responsibilities
Support existing Merchandise systems to ensure they function as intended, including:
Replenishment and Forecasting
Merchandise Planning
Merchandise Allocation
PLM for Direct Sourcing and Product Design
CORE merchandise systems such as Item Setup, Purchase Order Management, Inventory Management, Item Management, EDI, UPC, and Pricing Management
Gather and document requirements for projects, work requests, and issue resolution
Collaborate with Developers and the Merchandise Systems Architect to ensure system designs meet customer and business requirements
Provide subject matter expertise during research, reviews and problem resolution efforts related to new initiatives or internal efficiency projects
Build strong relationships with business partners and technology teams to deliver efficient, scalable, and maintainable solutions
Develop accurate estimates for project and task-related work
Partner with managers and project managers to ensure projects are scoped, designed, and delivered on schedule, whether through Agile releases or Waterfall project phases
Qualification
Required
Experience with Retail Systems
Experience with Replenishment and Forecasting
Experience with Merchandise Financial Planning
Experience with Merchandise Allocation
Experience with Item, UPC, Purchase Order, Inventory Management
Experience working within both Agile and Waterfall project methodologies
Demonstrated ability to document and maintain requirements, design specifications, and test plans
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment
Experience working with EDI protocols and documents
Familiarity with interface tools such as Tibco, SOAP and REST services, MQ, and Pub/Sub
Demonstrated ability to learn and apply new skills, technologies, and programming languages to existing products and processes
Preferred
Experience with coding languages including SQL, Java, Python, Pick-Basic
Linux experience
Ability to perform technical configuration, scripting, and systems administration
Familiarity with tools such as Confluence, JIRA, Ivanti, and MS Teams
Familiarity with AI Tools such as Chat GPT, Microsoft CoPilot or similar
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Supply Chain, or a related field (or equivalent relevant experience)
