Responsibilities

Communicate customer, regulatory, and internal quality requirements to all stakeholders
Ensure documentation and execution of the quality management system meet corporate and regulatory standards
Train and develop personnel to uphold quality standards and competencies
Manage internal, customer, and third-party audits, ensuring timely and effective resolution of findings
Oversee corrective actions and root cause analysis to address nonconformities and complaints
Utilize performance metrics to monitor quality, customer satisfaction, and cost of poor quality; drive targeted improvements
Partner with supply chain to develop and implement supplier quality strategies, including capability assessments and monitoring
Collaborate with engineering on product development and design reviews to ensure quality and reliability

Required

Bachelor degree in Engineering or related technical field; MBA or advanced technical degree preferred
10+ years of progressive quality leadership experience, with at least 5 years leading a quality department in a large, complex manufacturing business; aerospace background required
Expertise in AS9100 Quality Management Systems
Proficient in Lean, Six Sigma, Statistical Process Control, and Failure Mode & Effects Analysis
Strong leadership, project management, facilitation, and problem-solving skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; experienced in presenting to executive leadership

Preferred

MBA or advanced technical degree preferred
ASQ certifications preferred (CQE, CSSBB, CQMgr)
