Berlin 2nd Shift - Laser Technician

Responsibilities
Capable of operating all Laser Welders, Cutters, Markers and Automated Assembly Machines
Performs In-Process inspections using inspection equipment (OGP, MicroVu, Microhite, Keyence etc)
Able to identify issues for troubling shooting setups and machine failures, and change machine components as required
Perform setups/break downs
Role model and mentor to Laser Operators 1 & 2 & 3
Assists in Training of Level 1, 2, and 3 Laser Operators
Proficient with inspection equipment
Support Level 1, 2, and 3 Laser Operators with inspections & troubleshooting
Support Level 3 Laser Operators with 1st pc inspections and SPC as required
Full understanding of the workings of Laser Workstations, Part Specific Tooling and fixtures
Minimal Supervision
Communicate effectively
Power user in PLEX
Proficient in Blueprint reading including GD&T
Understand SPC data trends, identify root causes, first piece inspection requirements, and apply adjustments as required
Mount, Polish, and Etch samples as well as analyze results
Qualification
