ODOC Learning Fellow & STEM+ Specialist
Princeton University is seeking an ODOC Learning Fellow and STEM+ Specialist to provide tutoring and support services for undergraduate students in STEM disciplines. The role involves direct tutoring, training peer educators, liaising with academic departments, and assisting with program evaluations.

Responsibilities
Direct provision of course-specific, high quality, regular tutoring in group and individual formats
Under supervision and with substantial training, support, develop, and facilitate peer educator training sessions, including summer and winter STEM+ Learning Academy intensives
Liaise with academic (and other campus) departments and units on behalf of McGraw Center peer tutors – share relevant course information with peer tutors, may act as ambassador to course/precepts or attend instructional team meetings
Participate in program evaluation, including data collection and analysis – work with McGraw Center staff to design/re-design program evaluations, ensure student voices are heard, collaboratively develop strategies to feed evaluation data back into programs

Qualification
Required
Demonstrated competence in STEM+ undergraduate coursework
Competence and/or potential to develop competence in group facilitation and tutoring
Highly proficient communication and organizational skills
High standards of professionalism, including tact and discretion
Ability to work non-standard hours, including multiple evenings (7:00-10:30 pm) each week and on Sundays when courses are in session
Preferred
Training and experience in a learning support role (e.g. tutor, coach/consultant, advisor)
Knowledge of learning theory, strategies, and techniques
Familiarity with quantitative or qualitative assessment
Knowledge of Princeton University teaching practices and academic culture
