The intern will assist in the development of structural engineering design projects, working on various projects from mixed-use buildings to infrastructure, while gaining professional experience in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities
Assist with project design, production of reports, specifications, and drawings
Perform limited project structural engineering analysis and design
Assist team during the evaluation phase, including field review of existing structures, writing reports, developing repair options, construction cost estimates
Assist team during the construction document phase, including review of repair options, developing drawings, developing specifications, construction cost estimates
Assist with the development of construction documents using CAD and or Revit
Assist team during the bidding phase, including pre-bid meetings, addenda, bid evaluations, review of alternates and substitutions
Assist team during the construction administration phase, including preconstruction meetings, construction review, project meetings, test report overview, project close-out, etc
Qualification
Required
BSCE in civil engineering
EIT certificate
0-4 years' experience in structural engineering
Experience with AutoCAD and or Revit
Proficiency with MS Office applications
Strong technical, written, and verbal communication skills
Ability to work in a team environment
Ability to travel 15% of the time in the field
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis
Preferred
Master's degree
PE
Related work experience with building facade, parking structures
Previous experience with construction administration
