The intern will be involved in designing electrical systems for Tesla's robotics projects, working closely with teams on critical design and documentation tasks.

Responsibilities
The Robotic Systems Integration team, which owns the electrical and hardware design, test, and prototype for all the power electronics that go into Tesla Bot. The ensure's the product functions are successfully achieved by the integrated subsystems as they interact in the context of Tesla Bot
The Robotics Low Voltage Electronic Design & Circuitry team design the electrical "nervous system" for our humanoid bi-pedal robots. You will take part in designing full robot circuitry and document requirements, calculations, design decisions, service documentation etc. You'll be exposed to various aspects of Optimus, such as controllers, sensors, actuators, battery, and harnesses
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field
Experience with analog and digital circuit design and PCBA
Experience with PCB component selection
Exceptional organization and communication skills (both written and verbal)
Experience in MATLAB, Python, C/C++ or equivalent tools for modeling and analysis
Basics of serial communication protocols (CAN, Ethernet, SPI, I2C, etc.)
