Responsibilities
Interface with clients and vendors
Design One Line Diagram, Three-line Diagrams, Electrical Yard, Grounding & Conduit Layouts, and Protection & Control Diagrams for High Voltage Substations
Coordinate all aspects of project document completion within the company and externally with clients and other design professionals
Check progress of work and alerts Project Manager to needed changes
Perform necessary field measurements
Assist code officials and other design professionals when an interpretation or exception to the building code is required
Assist in the development of company design and production standards
Perform and direct construction support/management on routine and simple projects
Assist drafting and design staff as a resource for design questions
Manage and coordinate drafters and designers in drafting required drawings for substation projects
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent based on evaluation of academic credentials, training and/or experience)
Three (3) months in job or job related experience to include interface with clients and vendors
Coordinate all aspects of project document completion within the company and externally with clients and other design professionals
Check progress of work and alerts Project Manager to needed changes
Perform necessary field measurements
Assist in the development of company design and production standards
