Responsibilities

Evaluates, selects, and applies standard Control Systems engineering methods, techniques, procedures, and criteria, using independent judgment in making adaptations and modifications

Participates in the design, development, and modification of control systems deliverables and processes utilizing relevant Engineering Department Procedures (EDPs), design standards and guides, and Bechtel Standard Application Programs (BSAPs)

Coordinates work and collaborates with other engineering disciplines, specialty groups, other functional groups (including Construction and Startup), suppliers, contractors and the client

Prepares conceptual studies, designs, reports, or proposals

Provides technical assistance to other Control Systems personnel

Interacts with regulatory agency personnel in the resolution of complex regulatory issues and industry codes and standards

Provides assistance to project and construction management in identifying and complying with project Control Systems requirements and in addressing issues as they arise during project execution

Required

Requires bachelor's degree and 5-8 years of relevant experience or 9-12 years of relevant work experience in lieu of degree

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Proficiency with Microsoft 365 application suite (e.g., Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, Power BI, etc.)

Knowledgeable of control system engineering work processes, procedures, and specifications

Extensive experience with operations technology equipment and component configuration, integration, and testing

Eligibility for this position requires US citizenship; successful candidate must provide proof of US citizenship in order to obtain badge access to the site

Candidate must complete security questionnaire and successfully clear site access requirements check
