They are seeking a Director of Technology to oversee their technology systems, ensuring accuracy, reliability, and scalability while managing system configurations, workflows, and incident responses.

Responsibilities

Own system administration and configuration

Manage permissions, roles, workflows, and system logic across Grüns’ core platforms

Maintain SKU and item master integrity to ensure clean data across all systems

Act as the source of truth for “how our systems are set up and why.”

Own cross-system order flows

Define and own what should happen across the full order lifecycle: Order creation → ERP→ fulfillment → invoicing → returns/adjustments

Ensure flows are clearly defined and reliable across DTC, Amazon, TikTok Shop, and Retail

Identify and remove risks that impact customer experience or financial accuracy

Lead issue triage and incident management

Proactively monitor systems to catch issues before they escalate

Own incident response, root-cause analysis, and long-term fixes

Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to resolve issues quickly and permanently

Manage vendors and technology partners

Own relationships with key partners including Fulfil, Crstl, Alloy, and EDI providers

Lead EDI onboarding and retailer integrations with standardized, repeatable processes

Manage tickets, escalations, and implementation timelines to completion

Build documentation and operational clarity

Create and maintain SOPs, runbooks, and training materials for system workflows

Document “how we do X” so systems knowledge is institutionalized, not person-dependent

Enable teams to operate confidently within systems without constant ad-hoc support
