Responsibilities

Assist in managing daily warehouse operations, workflow, order fulfillment, and inventory movement
Support the creation and implementation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) to improve efficiency and accuracy
Ensure warehouse organization, cleanliness, and compliance with company standards
Foster a positive and accountable work environment grounded in teamwork and safety
Monitor inventory levels to minimize shortages, overstock, and discrepancies
Oversee and participate in cycle counts, stock rotations, and full physical inventories
Investigate and resolve inventory inconsistencies, damaged goods, or mis-located items
Ensure real-time accuracy of WMS/ERP data through proper documentation and oversight
Help supervise shipping and receiving to ensure accurate and timely processing of inbound and outbound goods
Verify documentation, packing lists, bills of lading, and shipment accuracy
Work closely with carriers, vendors, and internal teams regarding scheduling, shipments, and special handling needs
Ensure outbound packaging meets quality standards and carrier requirements
Ensure compliance with OSHA, company safety policies, and all warehouse safety protocols
Conduct walk-throughs to identify hazards, enforce PPE usage, and correct unsafe behaviors
Participate in safety meetings, incident investigations, and corrective action planning
Ensure all warehouse equipment is properly used, maintained, and serviced
Report facility issues and coordinate with maintenance as needed
Support process improvements related to equipment layout, storage, and throughput

Required

High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred
3–5 years of warehouse experience
Strong knowledge of inventory control, shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations
Forklift certification
Experience with WMS/ERP platforms (SAP, NetSuite, Fishbowl, etc.)
Experience in a high-volume distribution or production environment
Safety procedures and practices in a warehouse environment
Ability to read and interpret documents, procedures, and manuals
Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and customers both verbally and in writing
Proficiency with email and other software programs

Preferred

Associate degree
Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
