Analyst Reimbursement II

The Analyst Reimbursement II supports the Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) Departments by providing data analytics and reporting, focusing on analyzing revenue cycle data and developing dashboards to monitor key performance indicators.

Responsibilities

Collect, clean, and analyze revenue cycle data from multiple sources (billing, claims, EHR systems, etc.)
Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to monitor KPIs such as denial rates, AR days, cash collections, and payer performance
Identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for process improvement across the revenue cycle
Collaborate with billing, coding, and finance teams to provide data-driven recommendations
Assist in forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis related to revenue cycle operations
Support ad-hoc data requests and special projects for leadership
Reads and abides by the company’s code of conduct, ethics statements, employee handbook(s), policies and procedures and other corporate mandates, including participation in mandatory training programs
Reports any real or suspected violation of the corporate compliance program, company policies and procedures, harassment, or other prohibited activities in accordance with the reporting policies of the company
Obtains clarification of policy whenever necessary and may use the resources available through the Compliance, Human Resources or Legal Department to do so

Required

Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Finance, Healthcare Administration, or related field
Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar)
Knowledge of statistical analysis and data modeling techniques
Strong communication skills to present findings to non-technical stakeholders
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Communicate a willingness to help others succeed
Work in a spirit of teamwork and cooperation
Convey a sense of competence and commitment
Use initiative to learn new skills, enhance personal knowledge and improve communications

Preferred

1–3 years of experience in data analysis (healthcare or revenue cycle preferred)
Familiarity with healthcare billing, coding, and payer processes is a plus
