Chassis Steering Design Release Engineer

The Chassis Steering Design Release Engineer will be responsible for the design and production release of steering systems, leading project execution, and ensuring the efficient use of resources.

Responsibilities
Responsible for the engineering, design, development, validation, timing, and production release of all new Steering Systems
Support the development and maintenance of chassis structure components
Lead project execution from an operational standpoint
Work independently or as part of a small team to ensure the timely completion of deliverables
Ensure safe, high-quality, and efficient use of company resources
Qualification
Required
Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited university (or ABET equivalent)
2+ years of engineering development and production release experience in steering systems OR 3 years of engineering development experience in suspension systems or overall chassis (components or systems)
Experience in component and system design, development, and validation, including system-level bench testing and vehicle-level testing for steering systems
Preferred
2 + years of steering-specific experience preferred
Master's degree preferred
