Hazard and Risk Assessment of existing and new processes
Participation in Lockout / Tagout (LOTO) verification and development
Participation in Shop Floor safety audits and observations
Participation in incident investigations and root cause analysis

Required

Student pursuing degree in Occupational Safety, Environment, Health & Safety, or related fields
Organizational skills and attention to details
Strong inter-personal communication skills and willingness to learn
Ability to work independently and take initiative
Interest in making the workplace safer and more efficient
Ability to work in a manufacturing environment
Ability to acclimate to various weather conditions in an indoor/outdoor work environment
Standard Monday-Friday schedule with flexibility to accommodate academic commitments
