Responsibilities

Oversee the entire accounting cycle, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll

Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting

Prepare and publish financial statements and management reports in compliance with US GAAP

Ensure the consolidation of financial results from the local entity into the global reporting system

Lead the preparation of the annual budget and periodic financial forecasts for the assigned entity or region

Conduct detailed variance analysis to explain differences between actual results, budget, and forecasts

Provide financial insights and data-driven recommendations to local and global leadership to support strategic decision-making

Maintain our internal control framework to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial data

Ensure full compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations and other relevant statutory requirements

Serve as the primary liaison for all external audit activities for the local entity

Research and resolve complex technical accounting issues related to the software industry, such as software revenue recognition (ASC 606), and document the company's position in technical accounting memos

Oversee the implementation and optimization of financial systems, specifically AI related, to enhance efficiency and reporting capabilities

Manage complexities associated with multi-currency operations, intercompany transactions, and international tax strategies

Collaborate effectively with the global corporate finance team to align on accounting policies, processes, and reporting procedures

Supervise, mentor, and develop a high-performing local accounting team

Foster a collaborative environment and act as a key business partner to local department heads (sales, marketing, operations)
