Greene County Prosecutor’s Office is seeking an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney in the Child Support Enforcement Division. Responsibilities

Represent the State of Ohio in child support enforcement actions, including hearings, administrative appeals, and court motions
Prepare and file legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and support orders
Conduct case review, legal analysis, and factual investigation
Present cases in court and advocate for enforcement of child support obligations
Work closely with child support caseworkers, state agencies, and other partners to support families and ensure compliance
Participate in ongoing training, mentoring, and team meetings

Required

Juris Doctor
Applicants must be licensed to practice law in the State of Ohio
Ability to manage a caseload and work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment

Must possess excellent research and writing skills and requisite understanding of relevant law and regulations
Must possess qualities of fairness, a strong work ethic, and have the highest integrity
Must maintain client confidentiality

Preferred

Preferred applicants will have at least three years of practice experience in the area of child support
