They are seeking a Founding Engineer to join their Platform and Infrastructure team, responsible for designing and developing a cloud platform that supports multiple data processing technologies.

Responsibilities

Build out our cloud platform

Work directly with the co-founders to design and develop a platform that supports multiple data storage and processing technologies

Implement applications in private/public cloud infrastructure and container technologies like Kubernetes and Docker

Run our infrastructure with (Chef, Ansible, Terraform, Kubernetes, etc.)

Manage, configure and troubleshoot operating system issues, storage (block, object, etc.), networking (VPCs, proxies, CDNs, etc.), and administer high-availability (DuckDB, PostgreSQL, Redis, etc.) clusters

Build and support CI/CD platforms, automate repeatable infrastructure needs, environment buildout, software build and releases, create automated solutions, install and configure application software, and upkeep systems through patching, upgrades, monitoring, and maintenance support

Design and build CI/CD pipeline with tools such as (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, Kubernetes toolsets, etc.)

Scale infrastructure on distributed systems
