Responsibilities
Designing, implementing, maintaining and communicating an effective hospital compliance and risk management programs
Overseeing the management of the central database for hospital policies and procedures
Accountable to county, state and federal agencies in addition to other external regulatory agencies for maintaining compliance with applicable laws, regulations and standards

Knowledgeable in regulatory requirements: Federal, and State regulations including but not limited to, Title 22 licensing requirements, CMS Conditions of Participation, accrediting bodies such as The Joint Commission, California Department of Public Health, and the Federal Sentencing Guidelines
Certified Healthcare Compliance (CHC) and Certified Professional in HealthCare Risk Management (SPHRM) required or must be achieved within 12 months of hire
MAB is required to be completed on the first day of work. (Grandfathered: existing employees must complete new requirements by 6/9/2025.)
Preferred
Minimum of five years of experience in compliance and risk management in a healthcare setting preferred
Bachelor's degree in business administration, healthcare administration, or related field desired: Master's Degree or Juris Doctor Degree preferred
Certified Healthcare Compliance (CHC) and Certified Professional in HealthCare Risk Management (SPHRM) preferred
