Director, IT Business Applications
All Surfaces is seeking a Director, IT Business Applications to lead the delivery and support of their portfolio of business applications. This role focuses on strategic planning, implementation, and integration of ERP and related applications to enhance operational efficiency and support business priorities.

Responsibilities
Responsible, in collaboration with the IT Leadership Team, for strategic planning and roadmap development for business applications and platforms
Develop and maintain an understanding of key business functions and organizational strategies and guide decision making on key technology platforms to support defined strategic business objectives
Collaborate with users, IT team members and other stakeholders to review requests and research, evaluate and recommend new technologies, platforms, and applications in order to meet business requirements
Provide leadership in the project management, product management and application implementation / development life cycle tools and practices to create an environment of innovation, teamwork, solid execution and managed risk while driving continuous improvement
Define and maintain standards for application implementation and development
Develop timelines for project delivery and manage projects and resources to successful completion. Allocate team resources and prioritize projects and tasks to achieve department and company objectives
Provide guidance to application development staff and oversee projects to ensure assignments follow established procedures, meet the Company’s standards, and are completed on schedule
Provide support, as needed, in all aspects and review all implementation / development documentation
Provide inspiring and engaging leadership for the IT Business Applications team, fostering an environment of innovation and continuous improvement and operating with a high sense of urgency
Responsible for departmental resource planning, workflow, and performance management as well as training and development of team members
Establish processes, procedures, and standards as necessary
Adhere to established project management methodology, SDLC, support and service management policies and procedures, ensuring activities are fully documented for auditing and future support purposes
Evaluate, select and manage relationships with third-party vendors and partners
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred
12+ years of hands-on technology experience with 10+ years of business systems development / implementation experience (packaged and custom developed) required
An in-depth knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), development methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall and project / product management tools and techniques necessary
Strong experience with packaged business applications (e.g. ERP, WMS, etc.), SQL queries and BI/Analytics tools such as PowerBI
Demonstrated record of solution delivery success in leading collaborative efforts working with outside vendors and other business partners required
Preferred
Experience in the Distribution Industry
Experience with Epicor Prophet21 or other distribution ERP application (DDI, Eclipse, Tribute, FACTS, etc)
