Infrastructure Delivery Install Technician (AWS GovCloud Region)
Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for a Capacity Install Technician to join their growing team within infrastructure operations. The role involves managing customer requests, installing and troubleshooting cabling, and maintaining network stability in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities
Manage work and priorities through ticketing system and workflows to complete customer requests and projects
Carry a pager/cell phone for communication, information, emergency, and on-call situations
Up to 20% travel within geographical work area is required. Some travel outside traditional work area may be requested, including internationally
Install, test and troubleshoot fiber optic and copper cabling, including patch panels and patch cords
Linux/Unix Administration
Qualification
Required
High school or equivalent
Experience troubleshooting integrated and interdependent computer systems
Experience maintaining zebra thermal printers, troubleshooting thin clients, PCs, scanners, and portable handheld terminals
Technical aptitude
Written and oral communications skills
Ability to deal effectively with people in a wide variety of situations
Strong analytical skills with demonstrated problem solving ability
Ability to leverage experience exercising high levels of initiative, judgment, and diplomacy
Ability to sit in front of computer for entire scheduled 8-hour shift with appropriate breaks while maintaining a high level of alertness and attention to detail
Regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds; and participate in group lifts for 41 pounds or more
Walk job sites in uneven terrain
Work at heights and from ladders
