2026 Summer Research Internship: Analysis of Fossil Fuel Community Support Programs

Responsibilities
Provide technical support that allows for the production of compelling and impactful research under the direction of RFF Fellows
Contribute to an analysis of state and local government programs that support the economies of fossil fuel communities in the U.S
Review, categorize, and analyze existing state and local government programs
Qualification
Required
Priority is given to candidates enrolled in an undergraduate or Master's program that is relevant to RFF's research and mission
Clear interest in policies that support fossil fuels communities in the U.S
Strong analytical and writing skills
Experience or coursework related to policy analysis
Preferred
Experience or coursework in data visualization
