The Automation Shop Welder Fabricator will interpret blueprints, fabricate and weld components, and collaborate with engineering teams to drive solutions that improve efficiencies and quality.

Responsibilities

Interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and technical drawings accurately

Fabricate and weld components for industrial machinery and assemblies using MIG and TIG processes

Fabricate parts using saws, grinders, shears, brakes, and other shop tools

Assemble mechanical systems and automation equipment per engineering drawings and schematics

Perform quality checks and make adjustments as needed to meet specifications

Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues

Operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and other material handling equipment safely

Collaborate with machinists, engineers, and electricians to ensure proper fit and function of assemblies

Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety standards

Strong Interpersonal Skills: Effectively collaborate with management and team members

Assist in training new team members on welding techniques and shop safety

Team Building: Foster mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among all team members
