Responsibilities
Repair, customize, maintain, or overhaul both Guest and dealer owned motorcycles adhering to allotted time schedules while maintaining excellent quality
Assist Service Advisor when requested to initiate work orders, communicate with Guest, test riding, and other miscellaneous needs to ensure Guest satisfaction
Notify Service Advisor/Manager immediately if additional work is needed or there are delays in expected completion, contact Guest and notify of the delay
After job is finished ensure proper completion and filing of paperwork
Keep work areas clean and tidy and assist team members with maintaining shop cleanliness
Qualification
Required
Meet requirements for manufacturer certifications in the areas of product knowledge and technology
Prior technician experience, seeking candidates with a minimum of 2 years of motorcycle technician experience
Excellent verbal & non-verbal skills, listening skills and ability to problem-solve
Present a professional and well-groomed appearance
High school diploma or GED equivalent required
Must have a valid US government issued Driver's License with motorcycle endorsement, safe driving record and eligible to work in the United States
Must be able to move 800lb motorcycles onto service lifts
Technicians need to possess/obtain own set of tools
Must be able to pass a pre-employment background screening and drug test
