Acquisitions Analyst

Responsibilities
Supports the Vice President of Acquisitions in analyzing marketed and off-market opportunities in targeted markets
Assists in studying feasibility of prospective sites, including financial feasibility and proformas, physical due diligence, acquisition valuation, market assessments, political feasibility, entitlement pathways, and initial community engagement
Assists and leads certain aspects of RFQ/RFP responses for new acquisition opportunities
Assists in underwriting new projects for interim and final financing sources under supervision of senior acquisition staff at Linc
Assist in coordinating the assemblage of project consultants during due diligence and early entitlement stage for projects recently under site control, including providing design feedback to architects
Provides due diligence assistance with zoning requirements, architectural requirements, utility availability, surveys, title exceptions, rollback tax estimations, soil reports, financial analysis, environmental reports, work proposals, preliminary engineering, and land planning
Verifies that all final/reviewed site-specific information is consistent throughout the project file documentation and tracking system
Communicates frequently with all project team members to ensure terms and schedules related to site control are understood and proceeding as needed to meet project deadlines
Provides accurate and up-to-date land acquisition status to internal and external stakeholders on a regular basis
May support public presentations and attend City Council, Planning Commission and other government agency meetings, as needed
Research new state and local policies that streamline the entitlement process
Qualification
Required
Assists the Vice President of Acquisitions with identifying and analyzing new acquisition opportunities that align with the strategy and business goals of Linc Housing
Conducts research, provides financial and pre-construction analysis, running proformas, manages data, manages relationships with local planning and other public sector staff
Assists with the due diligence process
Assists with the response of Request for Proposals
Performs a variety of complex tasks related to acquisition, entitlement, project management, planning, contracting, and regulatory compliance
