Responsibilities
Follow up with insurance carriers, adjusters, TPAs, and customers regarding outstanding payments
Track AR aging and maintain detailed documentation of all collection activity
Request any missing paperwork needed to release payment
Communicate professionally by phone and email to resolve billing questions
Provide weekly updates on progress and results
Qualification
Required
2+ years AR or collections experience
Strong communication skills
Strong organizational skills
Experience working with insurance carriers or similar billing environments
Persistent and comfortable managing a high volume of accounts
Able to work independently and meet performance goals
Preferred
Experience with insurance or medical billing
