Responsibilities

Design and engineer solar energy systems for residential, commercial, and industrial projects

Perform site evaluations, system sizing, and electrical load calculations to determine the optimal solar solution

Collaborate with project management teams to create accurate installation plans and schedules

Develop proposals, including cost estimates, system designs, and energy production projections

Ensure that designs comply with local codes, industry standards, and safety regulations

Communicate effectively with clients to explain system benefits, installation processes, and maintenance needs

Utilize design software and tools to create detailed layouts and schematics for solar installations

Provide technical support to the installation team and troubleshoot any design-related issues during installation

Stay up to date with industry trends, regulations, and new technologies to enhance design capabilities
