Responsibilities

Monitor, analyze and make recommendations regarding key policy and regulatory developments related to workforce, immigration, intellectual property, privacy, and environment
Build and maintain communication channels with internal colleagues across relevant TI teams to explain policy, understand impacts and advise on any advocacy strategies
Develop and recommend the best policy approaches, decision makers understanding and build relevant successful coalitions
Represent TI in trade associations and establish/manage constructive relationships with other relevant stakeholders, including coalitions and academic institutions
Collaborate across the global government relations team on initiatives to strengthen relationships among key decision makers

Required

Bachelor's degree in business, political science, international relations, communications, engineering, or related field required
Minimum six years of work experience in related positions, including with a relevant industry, such as manufacturing or technology; previous U.S. government experience preferred

Preferred

Advanced degree (MA, JD) in a related field
Expertise with legislative and regulatory process
Extensive experience reviewing and analyzing complex policy proposals, legislative and regulatory
Good knowledge of workforce, immigration, and environment policy issues
Experience with Political Action Committee activities
Knowledge of intellectual property policy
Knowledge of privacy policy
Outstanding written and oral communication skills to effectively communicate with numerous internal and external audiences
Ability to work independently and as part of a team to efficiently educate on positions, complete complex tasks, solve problems and adapt to changing circumstances
