Responsibilities
Draft pleadings, motions, discovery responses, subpoenas, and trial documents; prepare exhibits and motion appendices
Support document review and production while tracking status and organization of case materials
Handle case file preparation, review, and maintenance
Assist with deposition, mediation, and trial preparation, and coordinate witness or expert interviews
Manage e-discovery processes and ensure compliance with Firm standards; enter billing and expenses promptly
Qualification
Required
Must meet California Business & Professions Code §6450 requirements
5+ years of civil litigation defense experience
Strong understanding of litigation processes, including case management, document review, and trial preparation
Familiarity with state and federal court rules, including e-filing procedures
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), WestLaw, and billing systems
Preferred
Bachelor's degree
