Contract Therapist at Northeastern University Hillel
Northeastern University Hillel is seeking a warm, energetic, and student-centered Contract Therapist to support the mental health and well-being of Jewish students on campus. This role involves providing both short-term support and longer-term counseling for students seeking ongoing care.

Responsibilities
Provide short-term and on-going individual counseling to Jewish students seeking emotional, academic, relational, or identity-related support
Offer timely, responsive 'in-the-moment' availability for students experiencing acute stress or personal challenges
Create treatment plans and maintain documentation in accordance with professional standards and ethical guidelines
Collaborate with Hillel’s professional staff to ensure holistic, student-centered support (while maintaining clinical confidentiality)
Refer students to specialized or intensive services when appropriate, ensuring smooth continuity of care
Qualification
Required
Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Psychology, (LCSW, LICSW, LMHC, PhD, PsyD, or equivalent)
Experience working with young adults or college students is strongly preferred
A relatable, engaging interpersonal style that resonates with students
Familiarity with Jewish culture and an appreciation for the diversity within the Jewish student community
Ability to work independently while collaborating with Hillel staff
Licensed in the state of Massachusetts
