Assist with the City’s annual budget process, including development, monitoring, and reporting
Lead the Road and Bridge Benefit District (RBBD) nexus study project
Conduct special districts budget levy calculations
Update and maintain Finance Department administrative policies and procedures
Assist with the preparation and coordination of the annual audit process
Qualification
Required
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree or equivalent in Finance, Accounting, Public Administration, Business Administration, or a closely related field
Three (3) years of increasingly responsible financial analysis, budget administration, or accounting experience
Governmental experience is highly desirable
Possess a valid California Class C Driver's License with a satisfactory driving record, or the ability to obtain a valid license
Able to attend special City events including weekends, evenings, and holidays as required

The City provides a wage replacement up to $3,500 per week, for up to 12 weeks for an employee’s eligible parental related leave of absence
The City will provide regular full-time, and at-will employees with tuition reimbursement for courses which relate to their job assignment or the completion of a degree in a field related to City operations, subject to funding availability
