Central Maine Healthcare is seeking a Respiratory Therapist Assistant to join their Respiratory Therapy team. This per diem position offers a flexible schedule and the opportunity to earn while learning, providing support to the Respiratory Therapy team and assisting with various tasks related to respiratory care.

Responsibilities

Fulfill clerical/material management duties

Supports the Patient Transport process

Responsible for performing multiple duties that require expertise in the assembly, transport, disinfection, calibration and troubleshooting of respiratory related equipment

Responsible for maintaining an appropriate level of equipment in the various respiratory work areas and assisting the Respiratory Therapist with various procedures and tasks, as directed

Cleaning, assembly, calibration, troubleshooting and transport of Respiratory Therapy equipment

Unpacking deliveries of supplies

Stocking shelves

Check code carts and restock as needed

Stocking oxygen cylinders daily
