Cordial Experience - Principal Sales Engineer

Cordial is a company dedicated to enhancing human-centric marketing since 2014. They are seeking a Principal Sales Engineer to collaborate with the SVP of Sales, leading the technical aspects of the sales process, conducting tailored demonstrations, and providing strategic insights to clients.

Responsibilities

Lead the technical side of the sales process—owning discovery, demos, solutions scoping, and all technical conversations
Be the “Product Hero” who showcases the flexibility and power of Cordial’s platform in a way that resonates with each prospect’s unique needs
Provide hands-on technical enablement for the sales team and act as the resident product expert
Offer insight and perspective to Product and leadership on feature requests, competitive intel, and market trends
Help shape our pre-sales playbook—capturing best practices, refining processes, and onboarding new team members as we grow
Drive excellence in RFP support, including contributing to and optimizing our new Loopio RFP platform
Bring a critical, strategic lens to deals across the pipeline—spotting opportunities, risks, and creative solutions

Required

8+ years as a Senior Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, or similar role in SaaS
Bachelor's degree
Ability to tailor every conversation to real needs
Ability to explain complex technical concepts with clarity, confidence, and connection
Technical knowledge of RESTful APIs, JavaScript, JSON, HTML, CSS
Ability to craft compelling demonstrations, slide decks, and value-driven stories
Organized and meticulous documentation and knowledge-sharing
Proactive, curious, and resourceful self-starter
Ability to build relationships easily across teams and with prospects at all levels
High integrity in handling sensitive information
Ability to prioritize effortlessly in fast-paced environments
Ability to read the room, meet people where they are, and foster genuine rapport
Embodiment of company values in communication, work style, and interactions
