Responsibilities
Partner closely with internal coverage, structuring, and portfolio management teams to support the execution and closing of direct lending facilities
Review, analyze, and approve underlying loan and collateral packages, ensuring alignment with facility terms and internal credit standards
Perform valuation and credit analysis of leveraged loans and related collateral
Support ongoing servicing and monitoring of lending facilities, including borrower requests and collateral updates
Prepare internal materials and presentations for credit committees and senior management, highlighting leveraged finance metrics, collateral quality, and market conditions within private credit
Communicate portfolio statistics, collateral composition, and investment strategy insights internally and with external syndicate partners
Contribute to process enhancements and best practices across the asset approval and monitoring framework
Qualification
Required
Experience in corporate finance, credit analysis, accounting, valuation, or structured finance is required
Candidates from ratings agencies, valuation firms, or credit advisory platforms are strongly encouraged to apply
Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with a high level of attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to convey complex credit concepts clearly
Proactive, self-motivated professional who thrives in a fast-paced, transaction-oriented environment
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Bachelor's degree required
Preferred
Completion of a formal credit training program at a reputable investment or commercial bank is preferred but not required
