In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and upgrading software and hardware to ensure efficient operation of computer networks related to COMNET, while also ensuring high levels of network availability and security.

Responsibilities

Ensure network operations align with business goals and objectives

Support problem, defect, and incident management processes for seamless network performance

Provide evidence of network compliance for audit requests

Develop and track performance and functional metrics for network services

Troubleshoot issues, configure hardware and software, implement backup processes, and assess systems for upgrades or replacement

Assist with rollout of new systems, software, and enhancements

Monitor and maintain COMNET software, hardware, and network equipment, including installing necessary applications on servers and workstations

Ensure high levels of network availability and security

Document and improve DCS network equipment and configurations

Develop training materials and procedures as needed

Collaborate with external vendors and suppliers regarding network issues
