They are seeking a Principal UX Designer to own key experiences from inception to release, aligning core interaction patterns and delivering delightful experiences for users.

Responsibilities

Become completely immersed in the Vapi product experience

Identify where users get stuck and which workflows break down

Generate a quick hit list “here’s a pain and here’s a fix” improvements

Forge Design/PM/Eng into a well-oiled user centered feature team

Design and deliver 1 high-leverage end to end product experience that visibly moves adoption, engagement or retention

Turn your projects into delightful design specifications that bring the team and customers together

Research customer needs and shape the roadmap with data

Own and execute on a 12-month roadmap of product features

Build the core of a reusable component system taking atoms to particles

Make that product experience feel boringly excellent: fewer confusions, more accelerating experiences

Raise the experience bar across Vapi by demonstrating clarity, speed, honesty, and customer empathy. Help turn Vapi into a customer-led product rich organization
